CONDITIONS FOR REFUND

If milk is unfit for consumption- Our Ghee has no added preservatives or additives. Maintaining an optimum temperature is therefore the key to keep ghee fresh and fit to be consumed. However, if the cold chain obliviously breaks on our end, causing the ghee or the ordered ghee product to turn sour on the very same day of delivery, then you can request a refund for the ordered lot.

Refund is initiated once we receive a complaint along with the batch details photograph i.e. the date printed on the pouch or bottle by call or email.

Exchanges only happen during applicable conditions. We only replace or refund items when they are found damaged or tampered with at the time of delivery.

Post-service discontinuation- If you have discontinued your milk or dairy product supply or have relocated to a new locality that does not come under Shyam Dairy’s area of service, then your refund will be duly processed and the amount will be credited automatically through the same mode that payment was made, within 10 business days. However, keep in mind that you will have to raise a refund request from your end over a call or email us at Mangalam Ghrit customer care mail ID, along with the attached bank details to receive the refund amount.

Late or missing refunds- In case of late or missing refunds, first check your bank account, If not having received the refund amount yet, you can contact your bank to know of the transaction update. There is often a small time window before a refund is properly reflected in your bank account despite having been processed from the company’s end. If you have done all of this and the refund is still not showing in your bank statement, then feel free to contact the customer care or help center provided by our company.

Wrong delivery- A delivery will be considered erroneous from our end if you have updated us in advance and yet end up receiving a delivery despite your intimation to us. In cases like this, you are eligible for a reverse pick-up service that will be done free of cost by the company’s delivery partner. To do this, you will have to responsibly inform us within two hours of delivery to arrange for a reverse pickup service for the product.
Refusing delivery without any prior notice or information to the company does not make the situation qualified for a refund.

NOTE- Keep your milk delivery bags or boxes for our delivery partner to put your order in. The company shall not be responsible for any kind of theft or mischief carried out by animals such as cats. We request you to keep your bags at a distance where it’s not easily reachable by stray animals.

Following are the permissible methods to intimate the company for refusal of delivery and getting a refund.

Call our customer care department before the stipulated time.
Please note, that informing the delivery boy is not admissible as a formal intimation of an order. The customer care department is the only authorized channel for this.

Product Damage/ Leakage- In case any product is found to be damaged or has a leakage issue and has been visibly tampered with at the time of delivery then kindly send a product image depicting the issue to our support number. Once we receive the photo, our company will take full responsibility, and we will either initiate a refund for the affected product or promptly replace it with a new one.

Note- All refund processes are subject to applicability. If the aforementioned conditions fail to apply, then it is to be noted that the company does not guarantee a refund otherwise.
